The Beagle School:
Building the Next 50 Years
Goal: To maintain affordable and accessible tuitions in the community post-completion, raise $1,000,000 from community partners to support a healthy, inclusive and new learning facility that will serve families in Saratoga Springs and surrounding communities for the next 50 years. All money raised will go directly to the cost of building the facility.
Mission
Our goal is to help children become enthusiastic, self-motivated learners through play-based activities. We believe this kind of education encourages children to be active and creative explorers who are not afraid to try out their own ideas and to think their own thoughts. These skills will helps them become successful not only at The Beagle School but throughout their lives. Our preschool program offerings reflect this emphasis on a play-based curriculum.
The Proposed Project
Current plans would add approximately 1,000 in square footage of classroom space and renovate and existing 3,000 sq. ft.
Renovation will result in:

3 newly renovated classrooms spread across the 1st and 2nd floors

Additional storage space, prep stations, and space for staff (bathroom/kitchenette)

Updated mudroom/lobby

ADA accessibility for the school

Improved parking & modernized space

- $100,000 – Learning Sponsor, your gift will be featured on the new lobby for all to see and celebrate
- $50,000 – Classroom Sponsors, we’d like to name one of our new classrooms in your honor
- $25,000 – HMS Beagle Shipmate, these gifts will be recognized on Beagle’s most loved play ship
- $15,000 – Education Boosters, sponsors will be named on a new staff and meeting room
Playground Patrons
Beagle’s motto of “learning through play” comes to life outdoors, where everyone is invited to create, explore and move. Playground Patrons will be acknowledged on a special plaque.
